Marriott's Way

Follows a disused railway line for 26 miles between Norwich and Aylsham, making it almost entirely flat with a smooth, compacted surface—perfect for families, buggies, and dogs. Passes through peaceful Norfolk countryside, wooded sections, and pretty villages with handy café stops. Ideal for cycling too, and you can easily tackle shorter sections rather than the full route. A wonderfully accessible trail that lets you cover good distance without any climbing effort.

Follows quiet lanes, field paths and the old Bure Valley Railway trackbed – perfect tarmac for buggies on that section, though some field stiles elsewhere make it tricky with wheels.
