Longfold Farm Leyland Nice and basic with some stunning views. Probably wouldn't recommend more than two nights, but would definitely go back for a night or two. Local village with everything you may need, supermarket not to far a drive.
Llyn Gwynant is one of those pitches that reminds you why we do this. The lake at sunset, mountains on every side, and a bottle of Porto 6 on the table with the family — hard to beat. Facilities were clean, showers hot, dogs welcome, and the walk from Snowdon summit ends right at your tent. Would come back every summer.
The peacefulness of the place, the view and there are places to visit pubs shops great place to visit
Orcabre is a lovely campsite that has become a firm favourite with our family. Pitches are great and theres a little on site shop that stocks esentials, should you need them. Its pretty close to Settle and Malham so we use it when we want to go to Janet Foss, Gordale Scar and Malham cove. Its a really nice family friendly site, with a football pitch directly in the centre of all the pitches so the kids can all play together. The shop is well stocked. Last time we went we even managed to get ourselves a wind breaker. They do sell hot food as part of the main building but we didnt try it as we had our trusty camping stove. The toilets are probably the best weve used, they are really clean and modern, theres plenty of them and showers are available to use with a 50p meter and are nice and hot. You can also get change for the showers at the shop. This campsite is well stocked for those campers, including myself, who enjoy camping but like a site that still had everything you need to have a comfortable stay. The people who run the site are really friendly and they even come out every night with a fire pit and wood you can buy, which is a real bonus, because who remembers to bring a firepit? Overall a great stay and wouldnt hesitate to book again :)
