Southerly (CL) - Roughton

The first thing you notice at Southerly is the big Norfolk sky — unbroken horizons and that particular flatland stillness, broken only by birdsong and the occasional tractor working the fields nearby.

This is a proper Certificated Location, so just five pitches maximum, making it ideal for couples wanting a quiet escape or anyone who prefers their camping without crowds. It takes tents, campervans and caravans, and sits in gentle countryside a few miles from the Norfolk coast — you're in proper Broads country here, with market towns, nature reserves and those wide beaches all within striking distance. Being a CL means you'll need to be a Caravan and Motorhome Club member to stay.

Facilities aren't listed, so expect a back-to-basics setup — this is off-grid camping at its simplest. Campfires may be allowed depending on conditions, so check when you arrive. The vibe is peaceful, unhurried, and very Norfolk: space, sky, and not much else getting in the way.
