New Cut Trail

Follows a historic canal diversion through Runcorn, mostly flat with tarmac and compacted paths ideal for buggies and families. Dogs welcome on leads near the waterway. Offers industrial heritage interest with good views across the Manchester Ship Canal and Mersey estuary, plus easy access to local shops and cafés. Perfect for a gentle stroll with pushchairs or as a shorter leg-stretcher between drives.
