South West Coast Path (Section 18: Perranporth to Portreath)

Follows dramatic clifftop scenery between two classic Cornish beach towns, with steep ascents and descents throughout – definitely not buggy-friendly. Expect challenging climbs around St Agnes Head rewarded by spectacular Atlantic views, hidden coves, and fascinating mining heritage including engine houses perched on cliff edges. Dogs welcome on leads near livestock. Best suited for older children with stamina; allow 5-6 hours for the full section.
