Annandale Way
Follows the River Annan for 88km from its source in the Moffat Hills to the Solway Firth, mixing gentle riverside paths with moderate hillside sections—some climbs around Devil's Beef Tub are steep and exposed. Not suitable for buggies; older children who can manage full-day walks will cope with individual sections. Dogs welcome throughout. Rewards you with dramatic upland scenery, tranquil valleys, and rich border history across this less-trampled Southern Scottish trail.
