Headon Warren Walk, Isle of Wight

Meanders through 180 acres of ancient heathland and coastal grassland atop dramatic cliffs, with moderate inclines and uneven paths requiring sturdy footwear. Not suitable for buggies or very young children due to clifftop drops and rough terrain, though older kids who stay close will love the space to roam. Freshwater Way

Follows the western Yar valley through Freshwater's peaceful wetlands and meadows on mostly flat, well-maintained paths. Ideal for families and pushchair-friendly in dry conditions, though some sections can get mudgy after rain. Dogs welcome and often seen enjoying the open spaces. Offers lovely river views, birdwatching opportunities, and easy access to Freshwater Bay—perfect for a gentle stroll combining nature and coastal scenery.
