You're a five-minute walk from Blackpool's Promenade, close enough to hear the distant rumble of the Pleasure Beach on a still evening, far enough back to sleep without the seafront buzz.

This is a traditional guest house with a couple of camping pods out back — ideal if you want a Blackpool base that's not a tent in the wind or a faceless hotel. The pods suit couples or small families after something simple and weatherproof, while the guest house rooms give you a proper bed and breakfast setup. Dogs are welcome by arrangement, so worth asking ahead if you're bringing one. It's open all year, which makes it handy for winter illuminations trips or off-season escapes when the town's quieter.
