Klye Coastal Route to Balnakeil
Follows dramatic clifftop paths and sandy beaches along Scotland's far northwest coast, with stunning views across Balnakeil Bay. Terrain varies from gentle beach walking to moderate clifftop sections with some steep coastal inclines. Exposed to Atlantic weather, so not ideal for buggies or very young children due to uneven ground and cliff edges. Dogs welcome but keep on leads near livestock and cliff drops. Worth it for the wild, remote scenery and chance to spot seabirds and seals.
