The Gower Way

Traverses the entire Gower Peninsula across varied terrain – coastal clifftops, sandy beaches, limestone moorland and farmland with moderate to steep inclines in places. Not suitable for buggies; challenging for young children due to length and some scrambles. Dogs welcome but keep on leads near livestock and cliff edges. Penybedd Trail

Follows a scenic ridgeline trail with moderate climbs through Pembrokeshire moorland, offering sweeping coastal views towards Carmarthen Bay. The terrain is uneven with rocky sections and boggy patches after rain, making it unsuitable for buggies and challenging for young children. Dogs welcome but keep on leads near grazing livestock. Worth doing for the dramatic panoramas and sense of wild, open countryside away from busier coastal paths.
