Glyndŵr's Way
Traces 135 miles through mid-Wales hill country, linking Knighton to Welshpool via Machynlleth. Expect sustained climbs over moorland and through ancient oak woodlands, with significant elevation changes throughout. Not suitable for buggies or young children due to length, remoteness and challenging terrain. Dogs welcome but must be controlled around livestock. Rewards committed walkers with sweeping views across Powys, glimpses of Cadair Idris, and deep immersion in Welsh history and wilderness
