This is proper Dales hospitality — a guest house with camping pods tucked alongside, so whether you're after a soft bed or something closer to the stars, you're sorted. Hawes sits right in the heart of the Yorkshire Dales, all dry-stone walls and sheep tracks, with the Pennine Way passing through and Hardraw Force a short walk away. It suits couples wanting a cosy base, families mixing comfort with a bit of outdoor adventure, and anyone using the town as a jumping-off point for the fells. Dogs are welcome by arrangement, so worth asking when you book.
