Speyside Way
Follows the River Spey from Aviemore to Buckie on the Moray coast, mostly flat or gentle along old railway lines and riverside paths. Terrain varies from forest tracks to coastal sections, generally suitable for families though the full 207km demands stamina. Dogs welcome throughout. Offers exceptional whisky distillery visits, wildlife spotting (ospreys, red squirrels), and stunning Highland-to-coast scenery across one of Scotland's most accessible long-distance routes.
