Quarryman's Path

Follows a 6.4km moderately steep route through Forestry Commission woodland, climbing through former slate quarry workings with some rocky, uneven sections. Not suitable for buggies due to rough terrain and gradients, though older children who enjoy scrambling will love exploring the industrial heritage. Dogs welcome on leads. Mynydd Moel-Tyrrau Mawr ridge walk

Climbs steeply up grassy moorland ridges to reach the exposed summits of Mynydd Moel and Tyrrau Mawr, with big views over Snowdonia and Cardigan Bay. Rough, unmarked terrain unsuitable for buggies or young children—proper boots essential. Dogs welcome but keep close near grazing sheep.
