Ouse Valley Way 2 (Turvey to Eaton Socon)

Follows the Great Ouse through gentle Bedfordshire countryside on mostly flat, well-maintained paths with occasional riverside meadows. Perfect for families and buggy-friendly in dry conditions, though some sections can get muddy after rain. Dogs welcome throughout. Offers peaceful waterside walking with historic villages, wildlife spotting opportunities along the river, and lovely picnic spots—ideal for a relaxed day exploring the Ouse Valley's quiet charm.

Weneslawe Walk

Loops 12.8km through gentle Bedfordshire farmland and woodland managed by Greensand Trust, with mostly flat terrain punctuated by a few moderate climbs along the Greensand Ridge. Suitable for older children but too long and uneven for buggies. Dogs welcome on leads near livestock. Offers excellent ridge-top views across the Marston Vale, passing through mixed habitats including ancient hedgerows and quiet country lanes – a peaceful escape showcasing the area's landscape restoration efforts.
