Borders Abbeys Way
Spans 109km through rolling Scottish Borderlands, linking four historic abbeys with varied terrain from riverside paths to moorland climbs—expect moderate inclines and some exposed sections. Not suitable for buggies; older children who can handle distance will enjoy the history. Dogs welcome on leads near livestock. Divided into manageable day stages, each section reveals medieval ruins, woodland trails and sweeping valley views that bring the region's monastic heritage to life.
