Caldicot & Black Rock Loop

Loops through the Caldicot Levels wetlands between the historic town and dramatic Severn Estuary coastline at Black Rock. Mostly flat walking on defined paths and tracks, though sections can be muddy after rain. Suitable for older children but too long and potentially boggy for buggies. Dogs welcome on leads near grazing livestock. The estuary views, birdlife and contrast between medieval Caldicot Castle's grounds and wild saltmarsh make this a rewarding half-day outing for nature lovers.
