Loops through peaceful Ardblair Estate woodland on mostly flat, well-maintained paths with one gentle climb to a viewpoint overlooking Blairgowrie. Ideal for families and manageable with sturdy all-terrain buggies on drier days, though some sections can get muddy after rain. Dogs welcome on leads near livestock. The mature woodland, seasonal wildflowers, and glimpses of estate architecture make this a lovely short escape, perfect for stretching legs without serious effort.

Meanders through mature woodland on well-maintained paths with gentle gradients throughout. Perfect for families with buggies and young children thanks to smooth, accessible surfaces. Dogs welcome to explore off-lead in designated areas. Offers peaceful forest bathing among ancient oaks, seasonal wildflowers, and frequent wildlife spotting opportunities including red squirrels. Cateran Trail

Follows an ancient drovers' route through Highland Perthshire, covering 104km of varied terrain including gentle glens, moorland climbs and some steep ascents up to 600m. Not suitable for buggies or young children due to length, remote sections and challenging inclines. Dogs welcome but must be under close control near livestock on this circular trail through working farmland. Rewards you with dramatic mountain views, historic sites and a genuine sense of wilderness across five days of walking.
