Worth it for marine wildlife spotting, harbour views, and the raw beauty of Scotland's west coast—bring binoculars and watch the waves for fins and whiskers.

Anavig Trail

Winds through dramatic Highland scenery with moderate inclines and some rocky sections underfoot. Not ideal for buggies or very young children due to uneven terrain, but older kids who are confident walkers will manage fine. Dogs welcome on leads. Offers stunning views across Skye's rugged landscape and captures that wild, remote feeling the island's famous for without requiring serious hillwalking experience.

Cnoc Trail

Climbs steadily through ancient woodland to open hillside with panoramic views across Skye's dramatic coastline and the Cuillin mountains. Moderate incline on rough, uneven paths – not suitable for buggies and challenging for small children who aren't confident walkers. Dogs welcome but keep close during lambing season. The summit rewards your effort with spectacular 360-degree vistas that capture why Skye draws walkers from worldwide.
