South West Coast Path (Section 19: Portreath to Hayle)

Follows dramatic clifftop terrain with steep, challenging sections and frequent ascents around Hell's Mouth and Godrevy Point. Not suitable for buggies or young children due to exposed paths, rough ground and significant elevation changes. Dogs welcome but keep on leads near cliff edges and livestock. Rewards with stunning Atlantic views, wildlife spotting at Godrevy (seals common), historic mining ruins, and the iconic Godrevy Lighthouse that inspired Virginia Woolf's novel.

Camborne FP 15

Follows a traditional footpath through Camborne's mixed terrain with gentle to moderate inclines. Suitable for older children but not buggies due to typical Cornish stiles and uneven surfaces. Dogs welcome on leads. Links residential areas with quieter countryside pockets, offering a genuine slice of working Cornwall away from tourist trails—ideal for stretching legs between coastal visits or exploring the mining heritage landscape that shaped this historic town.

Camborne FP 3

Traces a short footpath through Camborne's urban edge, typically flat to gently undulating terrain. Suitable for families with buggies on firmer sections, though some parts may have stiles or kissing gates. Dogs welcome on leads near roads and housing. Offers a quick green escape linking residential areas, ideal for a brief leg-stretch or school run alternative rather than a destination walk.
