Clwydian Way
Traverses the Clwydian Range AONB with sustained climbs over heather moorland and open hills – expect steep, sometimes boggy ascents and exposed ridgelines. Not suitable for buggies or young children due to rough terrain and significant elevation changes. Dogs welcome but keep on leads near grazing livestock. Rewards effort with panoramic views across North Wales and Cheshire plains, plus iron-age hillforts dotting the ridge.
