The wind whispers through the Lincolnshire Wolds just as it did in Tennyson's time, and Somersby sits quiet in its folds, half guest house, half adventure.

This is one for couples after a proper bed and walkers who fancy a pod night under the stars — an unusual hybrid that gives you options. Dogs might be welcome if you ask ahead, and the Wolds National Landscape rolls out in every direction, all chalk streams and beech hangers and villages that time forgot. It's Tennyson country, genuinely, and you feel it in the hedgerows.
