South West Coast Path (Section 16: Porthcothan to Newquay)
Follows dramatic clifftop terrain with steep ascents and descents throughout—this is rugged coastal walking with some challenging gradients. Not suitable for buggies or very young children due to exposed cliff edges and uneven paths. Dogs welcome but must be kept under close control near livestock and cliff drops. Rewards you with spectacular Atlantic views, hidden coves, rock formations, and the iconic Bedruthan Steps, plus a satisfying finish into Newquay's surf town buzz.
