John Musgrave Heritage Trail

Meanders through South Devon's rolling countryside with gentle to moderate inclines, passing historic sites linked to local heritage. Mostly well-maintained paths and quiet lanes suitable for older children, though some sections may be uneven for buggies. Dogs welcome on leads near farmland and livestock. Combines accessible countryside walking with glimpses into the area's past, offering pleasant views across the South Hams landscape without demanding climbs.

Torquay Harbour Trail

Loops around Torquay's working harbour and marina on almost entirely flat, paved paths – perfect for buggies, young children, and dogs on leads. Takes in Victorian pier views, bobbing boats, and harbourside cafés. Mostly wheelchair accessible with gentle ramps. Ideal for a leisurely family stroll combining fresh sea air with easy ice cream stops and people-watching along the waterfront.
