Not ideal for buggies due to uneven ground and stiles, but manageable for older children who enjoy history. Dogs welcome on leads near livestock. Offers a fascinating glimpse into the area's working past with dramatic moorland views and remnants of 19th-century industry along the route.

Torquay Harbour Trail

Loops around Torquay's working harbour on flat, paved paths – perfect for buggies, young children, and dogs on leads. Expect minimal incline as you pass colourful fishing boats, harbourside cafés, and Princess Gardens. The route offers classic English Riviera views across Torbay, with plenty of benches and ice cream stops. Ideal for a leisurely family stroll combining maritime atmosphere with easy coastal access, typically taking under an hour at a relaxed pace.
