South West Coast Path (Section 47: Seatown to Abbotsbury)
Climbs steeply out of Seatown before undulating along dramatic Jurassic Coast clifftops with stunning views across Lyme Bay. The terrain is challenging with significant ascents and descents, making it unsuitable for buggies and tough for young children. Dogs welcome on leads near livestock. Worth doing for the spectacular coastal scenery, fossil-rich beaches, and the rewarding descent into historic Abbotsbury with its famous swannery. Experienced walkers only due to exposed sections and uneven p
