The off-road surface means children can safely explore ahead, though the full length is a serious commitment – most tackle shorter sections between old stations.

Peak District Boundary Walk Stage 12

Tackles moderately steep climbs through classic Peak District moorland with some rocky sections and stiles. Not suitable for buggies or very young children due to uneven terrain and length.
