Broken Banks
Follows a dramatic gritstone edge with exposed rocky outcrops and steep drops, offering sweeping views across the Peak District moors. Terrain is uneven with rocky scrambles and moderate climbs—not suitable for buggies or very young children who aren't confident scramblers. Dogs welcome but keep on leads near cliff edges. A rewarding walk for families with older kids who'll love exploring the jagged rock formations and natural "broken" edge features that give this route its name.
