Climbs steeply to Pen y Fan (886m), Wales' highest peak, via stone steps and rocky paths—expect a proper ascent of around 500m. Not suitable for buggies or very young children due to the challenging terrain and exposed ridge sections. Dogs welcome but keep on leads near grazing sheep and consider their fitness for the elevation gain.
