Conwy Mountain alternative
Climbs steeply from Conwy towards the summit ridge, offering dramatic views over the estuary, castle and Snowdonia peaks. Rocky, uneven terrain with significant elevation gain makes this challenging for young children and unsuitable for buggies. Dogs welcome but keep on leads near grazing sheep. The alternative route typically provides a slightly different ascent or descent line, letting you loop back whilst enjoying Conwy's Iron Age hill fort remains and sweeping coastal panoramas.
