Dog walkers should check the policy on arrival — livestock country means leads are often expected beyond the gate.

Expect a low-key, traditional Welsh camping feel rather than a polished glamping experience. Campfires may be permitted, but check the current rules when you arrive, especially in dry weather. The Ithon runs cold enough for a bracing paddle, and the surrounding footpaths weave through working farmland and along the old drovers' routes.
