South West Coast Path (Section 17: Newquay to Perranporth)
Follows dramatic clifftops between two iconic Cornish surf towns, with steep ascents and descents throughout – definitely not buggy-friendly and challenging for young children. Dogs welcome on leads near livestock. Showcases rugged headlands, hidden coves, and sweeping coastal views across approximately 11km of quintessential Cornish scenery. Expect rough, uneven paths with exposed sections in windy conditions, but the stunning Atlantic panoramas and diverse geology make every climb worthwhile.
