West Highland Way (Kingshouse to Kinlochleven)
Tackles the dramatic ascent and descent of the Devil's Staircase, the highest point on the West Highland Way at 548m. Steep, rocky switchbacks climb out of Kingshouse with exposed moorland terrain before dropping sharply into Kinlochleven—not suitable for buggies and challenging for young children. Dogs welcome but keep close on exposed sections. The panoramic views over Rannoch Moor and Mamores make this one of Scotland's most rewarding hill walks, though weather can turn quickly at altitude.
