South West Coast Path (Section 24: Lamorna to Marazion)

Follows Cornwall's dramatic coastline with steep ascents and descents over rugged cliffs—definitely challenging terrain unsuitable for buggies or very young children. Dogs welcome on leads near livestock and cliff edges. Expect stunning views across Mount's Bay, secluded coves, ancient field systems, and the iconic St Michael's Mount appearing as you approach Marazion. Proper footwear essential for rocky, uneven paths and potentially muddy sections after rain.

South West Coast Path (Section 23: Sennen Cove to Lamorna)

Follows dramatic clifftop terrain with steep ascents and descents through Porthcurno and past the Minack Theatre, demanding good fitness and sturdy footwear. Not suitable for buggies or young children due to exposed cliff edges, uneven paths and significant elevation changes. Dogs welcome on leads near cliff edges and livestock. Rewards with stunning granite headlands, turquoise coves, and some of Cornwall's most spectacular coastal scenery including Land's End views.

St Michael's Way

Follows a gentle 20km pilgrimage trail from Lelant to St Michael's Mount, crossing farmland, quiet lanes and coastal sections with mostly flat to moderate terrain. Suitable for families with older children who can manage the distance, though not ideal for buggies due to stiles and uneven paths. Dogs welcome on leads through farmland. Worth doing for the dramatic finale across the causeway to the Mount at low tide, plus glimpses of St Ives Bay and authentic Cornish countryside.
