Cape Wrath Trail (Ullapool → Loch an Daimh)
Tackles rugged, remote Highland terrain with significant steep climbs through pathless sections and boggy ground—definitely not suitable for buggies or young children. Dogs welcome but need excellent recall and stamina for this demanding wilderness stretch. Rewards with raw mountain scenery, total solitude, and a genuine backcountry challenge that epitomises Scotland's wildest long-distance walking. Navigation skills essential; proper hiking boots and waterproofs non-negotiable.
