Swale Heritage Trail
Follows the River Swale through Kentish marshland and historic dockyard landscapes, mostly flat terrain with grassy paths and occasional muddy stretches. Suitable for families and generally buggy-friendly on firmer sections, though pushchairs may struggle after rain. Dogs welcome on leads near grazing livestock. Highlights include birdwatching opportunities across wetlands, views of Thames Estuary sailing barges, and glimpses into Sheppey's maritime heritage around Queenborough and Sheerness.
