Diamond Way

Spans 106km across varied Cotswold terrain with moderate to steep climbs through quintessential stone villages and rolling hills. Best tackled in sections rather than one go—some stretches suit families and buggies where paths cross meadows, but expect stiles, rough tracks and challenging gradients elsewhere. Dogs welcome throughout. Links numerous historic wool towns and offers stunning escarpment views that showcase why this limestone country earned AONB status.

Gustav Holst Way (Guiting Power to Wyck Rissington)

Connects two picturesque Cotswold villages across rolling farmland and gentle valleys, with steady but manageable climbs through classic limestone country. Suitable for older children used to longer walks, but the distance and stiles make it tricky for buggies and very young kids. Dogs welcome on leads near livestock. Traces part of the composer Gustav Holst's childhood landscape, offering quintessential Cotswolds scenery with dry stone walls, open fields and charming hamlets en route.
