Follows dramatic clifftops between picturesque fishing villages, with steep climbs and descents throughout—this is rugged coastal terrain unsuitable for buggies or very young children. Challenging but rewarding section showcasing Cornwall's finest coastline, best tackled by confident walkers with good fitness level

Lundy Bay walk, North Cornwall

Loops from the clifftop car park down a steep, narrow path to a sheltered cove with rock pools and sandy beach at low tide. Not suitable for buggies or very young children due to the incline and uneven steps. Dogs welcome on leads near livestock. Worth it for the dramatic coastal scenery and relatively quiet beach compared to busier National Trust spots—ideal for rock pooling and a proper little adventure feel.

Lundy Bay and Port Quin circular walk near Pentire, North Cornwall

Winds along dramatic clifftops and dips into sheltered coves with moderate climbs throughout—expect some steep sections and uneven coastal paths. Not suitable for buggies or very young children due to cliff edges and rocky terrain. Dogs welcome but keep on leads near livestock and cliff drops. Delivers stunning North Cornwall coastal scenery, hidden beaches at Lundy Bay, and the picturesque abandoned harbour at Port Quin.
