Flat to gentle terrain throughout, making it ideal for families with young children and manageable with all-terrain buggies on drier days. Dogs welcome to explore off-lead in quieter sections. Rewards you with glimpses of the Inner Sound, seabird activity, and wildflowers in spring, offering a peaceful taste of Hebridean nature without the effort.

Port na Caranean

Climbs steeply from sea level to dramatic coastal viewpoints on Skye's rugged western shore, with uneven rocky terrain and exposed sections. Not suitable for buggies or young children due to challenging ascent and rough ground. Dogs welcome but keep close on cliff edges. Rewards effort with stunning views across the Minch and untouched Hebridean scenery that epitomises wild Scotland.

Hallival and Barkeval

Climbs two rugged Rum peaks via steep, rocky ascents with some light scrambling on Hallival's upper section. Not suitable for young children or buggies—this is proper mountain terrain requiring fitness and confidence on loose scree and exposed ridges. Dogs physically capable of scrambling welcome but must be agile. Rewards with stunning Hebridean views across the Small Isles and mainland hills, plus the thrill of bagging two Corbetts in one go.
