Glyndŵr's Way
Traces 135 miles through remote mid-Wales hills and valleys, linking Knighton to Welshpool via Machynlleth. Expect steep climbs, exposed moorland sections, and often boggy ground—definitely not suitable for buggies or young children. Dogs welcome but need excellent recall around livestock. Rewards experienced walkers with stunning Cambrian Mountain views, dense forests, and a real sense of wilderness rare in England and Wales. Best tackled in stages over several days with proper navigation skill
