St Frideswide’s Way

Follows a medieval pilgrimage path from Oxford to Binsey, tracing St Frideswide's connection to the city's patron saint. Mostly flat walking along the Thames Path and through Port Meadow's open grassland, making it suitable for families and buggies on firm sections, though meadow areas can be muddy after rain. Dogs welcome throughout. Combines history, riverside scenery and a peaceful pilgrimage chapel destination, ideal for a gentle half-day walk with cultural interest.
