Fen Rivers Way (Ely to King's Lynn)

Follows flat, easy riverside paths and old railway tracks through the Cambridgeshire and Norfolk fenlands—perfect for families, buggies, and dogs. Virtually no incline across the entire route, threading through historic Ely, Downham Market, and ending at King's Lynn. The wide, open landscapes offer big skies and glimpses of working farmland, with plenty of wildlife along the Great Ouse. Ideal for gentle long-distance walking or bite-sized sections when you want peaceful, level terrain.

Loops 3.5km around Soham on mostly flat, easy terrain across open fields and quiet lanes – ideal for families and buggies on firm ground. Dogs welcome to explore this Fenland market town route, which connects community spaces and offers big East Anglian skies without challenging inclines. Perfect for a gentle afternoon stroll with children, combining fresh air with local history in an accessible, pushchair-friendly circuit.
