Hamble Rail Trail Route

Follows a flat, traffic-free former railway line through woodland and open countryside between Hamble and Netley. Perfect for families, buggies, and wheelchairs – the wide, well-surfaced path makes it accessible for all abilities. Dogs love it and can often run off-lead in quieter sections. Great for spotting wildlife along the wooded stretches, with benches for rest stops and views across Southampton Water near Netley. An easy, peaceful escape that links to the Solent Way for longer walks.
