Inside you'll have solid walls and a proper bed, which makes it ideal for shoulder-season escapes or if canvas isn't your thing. Campfires are worth checking on arrival — policies vary and coastal sites can be particular about open flames. Pack layers, bring binoculars for seabirds, and be ready for wind. It's remote, it's atmospheric, and if you're after a genuine taste of lighthouse life without the 3am fog-horn shifts, this is quietly brilliant.
