The soft lap of water against the shore and the calls of waterfowl drifting across the lake set the tone at this peaceful East Yorkshire retreat. Nestled beside tranquil waters, Dacre Lakeside Park offers a genuine escape from the everyday, with mornings often cloaked in gentle mist that burns away to reveal wide Yorkshire skies.
This year-round site suits those seeking simplicity and natural surroundings, from couples craving a quiet weekend to families wanting easy access to the Wolds and the historic market towns of East Yorkshire. The lakeside setting provides a calming backdrop whether you're touring through or settling in for a longer stay, with plenty of space to breathe and unwind.
Facilities are straightforward and functional, with toilets and showers available for all guests. The site welcomes tents, campervans, and caravans, while campfire policies should be checked on arrival. The overall atmosphere is refreshingly low-key and unpretentious—just you, your pitch, and that soothing waterside view.
