The crunch of gravel beneath your boots and the rustle of Lancashire woodland set the tone at this peaceful rural escape, where shafts of morning light filter through the canopy onto neatly spaced pitches. There's a reassuring simplicity here that invites you to slow down and breathe in the earthy scent of the surrounding countryside.
Coppice Huts suits those seeking a straightforward camping experience in the North West without the trappings of larger commercial sites. Tucked away in Lancashire's gentle landscape, it offers a genuine back-to-basics retreat for tent campers, caravanners, and campervans alike, ideal for anyone wanting to explore the region's market towns and moorland without the fuss of overcrowded facilities.
Clean toilet and shower blocks cover the essentials, keeping things practical and comfortable. The atmosphere is low-key and unassuming — the kind of place where you can settle in with a good book, take an evening stroll through the trees, and enjoy the quiet satisfaction of a simple pitch well chosen. Check about campfires when you arrive if an evening fire is part of your camping ritual.
