The gentle burble of a stream drifts across this tucked-away Powys site, where morning mist clings to the valley and the soft Welsh light filters through surrounding trees. Camp Crick takes its name from the waterway that provides a constant, soothing soundtrack to your stay in the heart of Mid Wales.
This is a spot for those seeking simplicity and space in proper countryside, far from the bustle of coastal hotspots. The Mid Wales landscape here rewards quiet exploration, with hill walks and market towns within reach, though the site itself encourages a slower pace. Tents, campervans, and caravans are all welcome to settle in and unwind.
Facilities are refreshingly straightforward—clean showers and toilets cover the essentials without unnecessary frills. Check about campfires when you arrive, as policies can vary depending on conditions. The overall feel is unfussy and genuine, a place where the main attraction is the Welsh countryside itself, with that ever-present stream providing the perfect backdrop for evenings spent entirely off-grid.
