Moderate terrain with steep sections on woodland paths—expect mud and tree roots, plus steps near the falls. Not suitable for buggies or very young children due to uneven ground and inclines. Dogs welcome but keep on leads near cliff edges and livestock. The thundering falls and lush Brecon Beacons scenery make this a spectacular short adventure.

Sgwd yr Eira Trail

Leads to one of Wales' most spectacular waterfalls where you can walk behind the 15-metre cascade. Moderate difficulty with steep, uneven sections through woodland and over rocks – expect mud and slippery surfaces near the falls. The descent and climb back require reasonable fitness. Not suitable for buggies or very young children due to challenging terrain. Dogs welcome but keep on leads near cliff edges and waterfalls. Beacons Way

Traverse the entire Brecon Beacons from east to west across 152km of challenging, varied terrain including steep mountain ascents, ridge walks, and exposed moorland. Unsuitable for buggies and young children due to length, elevation gain, and remote sections. Dogs welcome but must be fit and under control near livestock. Worth doing for experienced hikers seeking a multi-day adventure through Wales' most dramatic national park scenery, ancient forests, and summit panoramas.
