A proper day's walk showcasing quintessential Shropshire landscapes and rural heritage.

Shropshire Way - stage 04

Covers 18km of moderate Shropshire countryside with rolling terrain and some steep climbs around Clee Hill. The route follows established paths and quiet lanes but isn't suitable for buggies due to length and inclines. Dogs welcome on leads near livestock. Offers sweeping views across the Shropshire Hills AONB and passes through traditional market towns – rewarding for experienced walkers seeking quintessential borderland scenery.

Offa's Dyke Path

Follows the Welsh-English border for 177 miles from Sedbury Cliffs near Chepstow to Prestatyn on the north Wales coast, tracing the 8th-century earthwork built by King Offa of Mercia. Terrain varies dramatically—rolling Shropshire farmland, steep climbs through the Clwydian Range and Black Mountains, exposed moorland ridges with serious ascents and descents. Definitely not suitable for buggies or young children; this is a challenging long-distance trail requiring fitness and navigation skills. D
