Not suitable for buggies or very young children due to uneven coastal paths, steps, and exposure. Dogs welcome on leads near livestock and during bird nesting season. Delivers spectacular Atlantic views, hidden beaches, sand dunes at Penhale Sands, and classic Cornish mining heritage around St Agnes Head – quintessential rugged coastline walking.

Cubert Common walk, North Cornwall

Loops across gentle heathland and dunes managed by the National Trust, with sandy paths and occasional shallow inclines. Perfect for families with buggies on firmer sections, though some dune areas may be trickier. Dogs welcome to roam this coastal common. Worth it for wild clifftop views over Holywell Bay, abundant wildflowers in summer, and a peaceful escape just inland from the busier beaches.

Traces dramatic clifftops between sandy coves with sustained steep ascents and descents throughout—challenging for fitness but spectacular coastal views reward the effort. Not suitable for buggies or young children due to uneven paths, exposed cliff edges, and multiple stiles. Dogs welcome on leads near livestock and cliff sections. Expect golden beaches at Mawgan Porth and Watergate Bay, plus rugged headlands where Atlantic waves crash against rock formations below.
